DENTAL HYGIENE TREATMENTS

At Fine Dental Hygiene Inc., each client receives an assessment of all factors that impact his or her oral health.

This includes a comprehensive review of the client’s medical and dental history. We focus on offering a therapeutic, basic service that focuses on health.

• Oral Health Assessment (we do not do x-rays)
• Scaling / Debridement, polishing if required
• Denture Care (cleaning and labeling) – referral to Denturists in the community if required for relining, repair etc.
• Oral Health Education of the client and their care providers.
• Fluoride Varnish Treatments
• Silver Diamine Fluoride

Infection Control

At Fine Dental Hygiene, infection control is an important and serious component of our standard of practice. All clinical procedures along with cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of equipment and instruments are performed with strict adherence to our infection control protocol developed from guidelines set out by The College of Dental Hygienists of B.C. as well as the College of Dental Surgeons of B.C.
